Dr. Sunil Mapara, MD
Dr. Sunil Mapara, MD is a graduate of Grant Medical College, University of Mumbai, India. He did his training in Emergency Medicine at Martin Luther King, Jr. General Hospital, California. Alongside his residency, he started his career in 1981 as an Urgent Care/Occupational Medicine/Family Practice Physician of Emergicenter – a brand new concept in medicine and an alternative to a hospital emergency room. He has very proudly been taking care of three generations of his patients’ families. He was the Medical Director of Emergicenter, Americare 1 and currently the Medical Director of Sunrise Healthcare Centers in Anaheim and Tustin.
Dr. Sunil Mapara is a Certified Medical Review Officer and a NRCME Examiner.
Dr. B. Ted Field, MD, QME
Dr. Field is a graduate of Abraham Lincoln School of Medicine, Illinois where he received his Doctor of Medicine. He did his Orthopedic Surgery Residency at Northwestern University, Illinois and Fellowship in Spine Surgery at the California Spine Surgery Medical Group, California. Dr. Field is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon, also Certified Spine Surgery Second Opinion for California and Qualified Medical Examiner, California.
Dr. Field has been a Clinical Instructor in Orthopedics at the USC School of Medicine. He is on the Chemonucleolysis Advisory Faculty in Northbrook, Illinois. He was an Orthopedic Consultant for America’s Marathon and a Staff Physician for the National Basketball Association Pre-Draft Camp in Chicago, Illinois.
By utilizing pain management techniques, Dr. Field has affected positive change in many lives. He has successfully reduced the disability caused by chronic pain; facilitating the return to normal activities and helping patients with debilitating disorders regain control over their lives.
Dr. Ajay K. Sawhney, DC, LAc
Dr. Ajay K. Sawhney graduated with a Chiropractic Doctorate in 2000 and Masters of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in 2001. He has a Bachelors Degree in Psychobiology with emphasis in Neuroscience. Check out his full resume at http://resume-for-you.com.
At Sunrise the goal is to help patients recover from their injuries quickly and return to normal life. With Chiropractic care he is able to align the spine, remove spinal joint fixations and help free the nervous system from interference which helps restore range of motion and decrease pain from injuries. Through the ancient healing art of Acupuncture he is able to offer patients an alternative way to decrease their pain and normalize physiological functions.
Kevin Allard, MPT
Kevin Allard, MPT is a graduate of Cal State University with a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy. He has been a lead Physical Therapist with Sunrise Healthcare Centers for over ten years.
Kevin became interested in physical therapy while he himself was a patient receiving therapy for a sports injury. Kevin strongly believes that patient education speeds up injury recovery time, and also helps prevent future injuries. Kevin enjoys outdoor activities such as snowboarding, hiking, and travelling.
Sophia Amoudeh, MPT
Sophia Amoudeh, MPT, graduated from Loma Linda University with a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy. She is an APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor. Currently, Sophia is working as the lead Physical Therapist of Sunrise Healthcare Center in Anaheim. She utilizes her 15 years of experience to ensure efficient and effective treatments for her patients in achieving successful
goals.
